purple sprouting broccoli

Mine has all bolted, can i start some more now or am i too late. I am speaking about the one you harvest next spring.

I'm not sure, but if you have the space, what have you got to loose. I wouldn't want to be without my PSB.

Can you try planting the seeds in the ground (because it's warm) under a cloche which would give them a running start.  You've got nothing to lose.

I think that's what happened to mine. Did yours leaves go pale with hints of yellow too.

All of my broccoli seems to have either bolted or has no intention of producing anything but leaves. 

Some of these look quite reasonable, can they be eaten like normal cabbage leaves or is it a total failure? 

Is the very dry weather we have had oikely to be the main cause of this?

The leaves can be eaten, yes.

The odd weather could have caused the bolting I guess - sign of stress?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Leaves are delicious! My plants are only 12" high but I've already had the lower leaves....
Last year they were like flagpoles half-way up and the kale looked like a palm tree...
