if i can freeze them and if i can how do i do it

Unless you live in Jersey, you can't grow them!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

You would have to cook them first. It is quite trendy at the moment to steam potatoes in their skin and then rough mash them (so they still have plenty of texture) and turn some melted butter and herbs through them (or olive oil and herbs or garlic).

I guess you could get them as far as the mash stage then freeze them and when you reheat them you could add the flavourings.
