 I (we) have a small allotment - new project by the local people in our village and also we are new to growing.
Help please - have planted some potatoes, as everone does, earlies lates etc. One of the v veriaties was desiree – they have come up but not yet flowered. They have what seems to be small fruits growing from them (a little like little green tomatoes). Is this right?
Any help would be gratefully accepted – no jokes about inexperience please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is quite normal.
Ignore them (the green fruits)
Let your potatoes grow on and then enjoy the crop.
