Can you eat the empty pea pods that have been shelled?  I chop carrot up for my dogs in their meals, and I wondered if they were edible and nutritious?

They're certainly edible but because they're mainly cellulose you can't digest them much!
Brilliant source of fibre and minerals.....

I've got a good recipe for peapod wine  :blink:

Trouble is, all my wine making stuff is right at the back of the garage, it'd take me weeks to dig it out....

Next year.
