Hi all, found some winter bnut squash plug plants on ebay. When will they be ready to harvest?

Have you ordered them?  because I think it may already be a bit late for them to grow and ripen

My brothers home for Christmas haven't seen him in about 7 yrs. He's interested in growing veg too. Want to have stuff growing to show him when he's here. Have the Dobies catalogue going to order potatoes, onions, shallots garlic maybe cabbage & carrot

Thanks they're late season new potatoes, Autumn planting onions, shallots & garlic. It says to sow cabbage & carrot July - Aug.
Are there any other veggies i can grow?
