Mine love all the scraps, but absolutely love natural yogurt with Cous cous in ( does not need to be cooked first) Banana goes down well.  The bow pasta is funny as they run away with it and look like they are wearing bow ties!

Off subject Junie, visited your region last April, absolutely beautiful. We stayed with some friends who were over from Oz in near Albi.

Leading on from that - can anybody tell me if Chickens can eat whole sunflower seeds, We are surrounded by sunflowers this year, so hope to find some that miss the harvester!

Well, galvanised by this thread I cooked some out of date brown rice for the chickens.  Mixed with weevilly organic sunflower seeds (extra protein) and chopped cabbage the growers loved it, but the canny hens sneaked off to steal the cats bread and milk right from under their noses.   One pullet chased off 6 cats from their bowl.  She tried with the dogs food first, but he said that enough was enough, he might not be allowed to eat chickens, but defend his food bowl he would.  They have no shame....
