Morning All

Some rhubarb advice please: Is there a point when you should stop pulling rhubarb and leave some stalks/leaves to feed crowns for nextyear? If so have we got to it yet? Thanks for any posts....

I stop eating then earlier than that usually.  About mid July,  the oxalic acid in them is increasing by then to a level which causes ........

This year has been very slow recently so I will pick for a little while longer tha usual.

As the rhubarb growers seem to have the wind up on this thread   I would like to ask a question.  What is attacking my rhubarb leaves?  Purple blotches underneath which seem to turn brown and big holes appear as if they have been eaten.  Otherwise, they have been fantastic again this year, except for now :(
Cheese makes everything better.
