HI SHAUN,sturon from sets,kelsae from seed.To be perfectly honest i have had my plot 3 years and these are the first onions i will be taking home.

Yes ,until last weekend they were protected with a windbreak of plastic ,the sort of stuff you see around roadworks,it makes a great barrier,back in early may they were going down like skittles,fortunately they recovered.

No,however i thought i had screwed them completely 6 weeks ago,one of the senior citizens on our site told me to feed them with growmore,i did and they put on a lot of foliage growth,but now they are putting on a lot of growth in the bulb.
