can anyone suggest a group of wildflowers for the back of my plot. It is shaded up until midday,but thereafter it is in full sun. I am talking about a strip of land about 20ft long and 3ft wide.

Why not buy a packet of mixed wildflower seed, sow them in the ground and see what happens?

You can pick up packs of native wildflowers on ebay for pence. I've sowed a strip on my plot early in the year. I'd definitely include some cornflowers, which are beautiful at the moment and which the bees love. I'd try and include some borage for the latter reason too. Apparently bees can only see flowers which are blueish in colour?!

if they can only see bluish colours...why do they fly to reds, yellows and whites etc ?

Scent when they're close by presumably??

They've got 5 eyes, but see red as black.
