The two bottom leaves on one of my cabbages have turned  fully yellow.. and on another ive noticed a leaf that is slightly blotchy

is this a case of epsom salts needed or is this normal or a deficency of some sort as thay have been fed BFB when planted

All depends on how big your cabbage plants are. If they are fairly big, I think it is normal for them to lose some lower leaves. If they are small, then over- or under- watering may be the cause. Spray them with foliar feed and see how they go.

You will find that it happens to all the brassicas. I am pulling leaves off cabbage , cauliflower and swede at the moment.

yes just got back from the lotty where i removed them
 i never  knew cabbages could get this big the variety are hispi f1
