Is it true that you can use turnip leaves as well as the turnip itself? Thanks :D

So they say though i have never tried them, I think they would have to be from your thinings though as they get a bit tough when older.

Turnip leaves make great greens - you don't just need to use the thinnings, the mature leaves work OK too.  The younger leaves from the centre are best - save these when you harvest the mature turnips.  Just don't overcook them. 

Some varieties are particularly noted for good leaves (e.g., Petrowski), but as long as the leaves look healthy, give them a go.
