Hi all,
Had my girlies for nearly a month now.
Its all going good,but I wonder if they prefer mash to their daily pellets..
Durng the day they just have pellets then in the evening I supplement with yummy leftovers,including a mash made of porrige oats,cooked veggies and layers mash.

They dont seem to be eating many pellets though.
My question is,could I put mash in with the pellets during the day,would this upset their laying(two eggs a day at mo)or should I keep the mash just for the evening?

I would just keep them on the layers (both layers pellets and mash have the same ingredients in them) and just a small handfull of mixed corn as a treat about an hour before bedtime.

Echo what has been said. I also find that pellets dont make as much mess as mash to clean up
