Was thinning out today when I saw the little maggots in the carrots, not all of them were affected but bet they soon will be, never mind.  I had risked it and used no barriers so won't do this next time! It will be carrots in baths I think! I hope my guinea pigs don't mind  maggotty carrots!

Anything like ours they'll scoff them maggots and all without blinking. In our house their Known as the "greedy pigs" no wonder the bloke I got em off was giving them away, never seen anything eat like it  :shock:

Try grow chives near carrots will improve growth and deter carrot fly. The chives confuse them with the smell.
