 The boys have had a lovely warm bath, sme food and a drink and are now tucked up in their overnight cage in my living room, but they are scoffing all the hemcore! Will it harm them, shall i take it out...what should i do?

what is hemcore i dont think i have seen it , is it for horses , and is it like hay or straw

My chooks eat the hemcore too 

It does mine no harm.  It's just chopped up hemp fibre and non toxic.  Won't give them any nutritional value I expect though.

Thick, aren't they?!  They did that here too occasionally. It can be a problem when they first hatch as they can get blocked bowels but they are way past that stage so don't worry about it.

Thanks everyone...anyone would think i was starving the poor little things! I did actually put a clean towel over the top of it much to their disgust as i wasnt really sure what it would do to them, i suppose if i thought about it logically, i would have realised its only plant matter
