Harkers harka mectin?
« on: May 30, 2010, 18:04 »
Has anyone used this it was sold to me as a preventative worming treatment two drops on each chuck like frontline I asked for flubenvet but he insisted this was good he also tried to sell me verm x but I read a post by hillfooter about it and left it with him. Anyway should I use this medicine it says it's for pigeons on the box. I've not used it yet there is a two week egg withdrawal and I wanted to check with you guys
ps they have already been treated with frontline could using this overdose them ?

Why are you getting another wormer if they have already been treated with flubenvet? If this other thing has a 2 week egg withdrawel i wouldnt touch it!....Also , you have a choice if you dont want something, dont be brow beaten into buying it. If you still have your reciept, take it back, say you were sold the wrong stuff , could you either have flubenvet or your money back........dont let them push you around ;)

It's just Ivermectin  ::)

Take it back.  It's NOT for chickens.  Do  you want to throw away eggs for two weeks ?  ::)

sorry hun, speed reading again! ::) Frontline works a treat on chickens for all things crawling, but its not licenced for them so beware ;)(i use it on mine) You wont over dose them using frontline and flubenvet together or close together-dont worry. seriously though, take that stuff back...if he gets funny say he sold you a product thats not licensed for chucks and your gonna report him :D...dont take rubbish, there are too many people trying to make a quick buck from novices...dont take it!
