My chooks (10 potential layers) we're started on antibiotics for a week and we're only laying 3 eggs a day before we started medicating them.

Since starting the antibiotics they have be laying 7/8 a day constantly (for 2 weeks)! Its now one week after the antibiotics and we can finally eat the eggs from today and they have only laid 2!

is this just the weather? its been pouring heavy rain today in Manchester or am I just unlucky?

mine have eased up with the weather (and several going broody  ) but now it has cooled off a bit hopefully things will soon pick up

Yes mine have slowed down too.  They'll pick up again if the weather is settled.
