I've been whinging about the late frosts and cold weather for months now, but omg is it hot today,
I've come back from the lotty this afternoon red as a beetroot and sore as anything, It's too hot
Mind you though I will persist in sitting directly in it  I can't not if the sun is out.
The crops are loving it though :) :)

managed some gardening chores this morning but then it became too hot to do anything but potter and admire whats been achieved .Can't complain after the very cold winter, but now would like a shower of rain , are we expecting any in the midlands next week, anyone heard ?

So lovely to hear the birds singing and heard my first cuckoo this year this morning and 2 swallows flying around.

Oh !  noticed that my pear tree is covered with loads of tiny pears , so do I leave them all or thin them out (conference ) ?

Down on the lottie this morning at 9:00 and stayed until noon.  Weeded my asparagus bed (the only bed that is loose, not compact), and my OH dug some soil up to bank up the spuds.  We then came home as it was too hot (I can't believe I'm saying that as I'm a sun worshipper 8)).  Anyway, will be going back tonight to water some of the seedlings and also the courgetts and pumpkins, and all the stuff in the greenhouse. :D

Apparently, its forecast to go cooler - make the best of today folks

Yesterday the Beeb said rain towards the end of the week - today they seem to have changed their mind.

A little cooler for a couple of days would be nice so I can get my tons of weeding done but come June "LET IT SHINE" :)
I'll be ready for it then
just seems to have gone from cold to rediculous very quickly
I am not complaining though :)
