What can I grow in a greenhouse which doesn't do well outside?  To be planted from seed soon ish or bought if too late to plant? I've just come home from work to find my father in law has bought me a poly carb greenhouse(which they are still putting up :-))

Tomatoes, peppers, chillies, aubergines but you should probably have to  buy plants, its a bit late to grow from seed.

melons , cucumber, lettuce in winter , carrots , late crop ,  early crop of peas next year.

Do melons do well in a greenhouse? I never thought of those...

You might be a little late to grow some things from seed for the greenhouse but you could pick up some plants at the garden centre.  Eg chillies, aubergines, cucumbers etc.

Thankfully my friend is going to give me some chilli plants as I saw in being in queue that they were £1.48 per plant
