I have a load of Horse manure (not fully composted) and a freshly dug virgin bed, can I dig in the manure into the bed then plant my chitted main crop spuds ( Lady balfour) without any ill effects?

Any advice appreciated.

I'd only use well composted manure.

Not fully composted can cause scab.

Thanks DD.  While you are about - what is the variety of peas you grow and what height do they reach.

I grow my own saved heritage seed now, but my commerical favourite is Kelvedon Wonder. Mine grew to about 2'6".
