Premature flowering?
« on: May 13, 2010, 12:42 »
I'm growing jalapeno peppers for the first time, and I need some advice. They have been brought up indoors, potted up a couple of weeks ago, and one of them now looks like it's starting to develop flower buds. But the plant looks pretty small still, about 15cm. Is this OK, or should I remove the flower buds to let the plant get bigger?

that's about the size when mine started flowering, I just left them to get on with it and now have a few green peppers growing.
Some varieties just dont grow very big.......

Hi

Mine are about the same size or smaller & they always start to flower around now.

I just hand polinate if indoors & let them fruit away.

Seems to work with mine.  :)
