Can baby Gooseberrys get frost damage?

I noticed tonight some of the fruit looked a bit off and could only think its frost damage.

I chucked a fleece over it tonight in case.

Anybody know anything?

I thought gooseberries were extremely hardy tbh

My goosegogs have never suffered frost damage but you did the right thing fleecing.

Better safe than sorry.

My bush is a Yellow leveller , something has definatly upset about a quarter of the fruit.

How are you going to get it off? (the fleece that is)
