hi from dublin,
ima 67 year old great granny from dublin and am tryin to grow potatoes in tyres, do i cover the leaves of the plant or just keep covering the stem?
1st time on the site and dont know how to post this question,any help?

I cover the leaves as well as the stem, but I wouldn't worry too much about the niceties of it.

I don't know what your weather forecast for this weekend is, but over here we're due frosts - just make sure you fleece or cover the leaves if you're forecast a ground frost too.
