When should I take plants from the propagator?
« on: April 29, 2010, 08:47 »
I planted a tray of 15 cucumber seeds on Sunday and all but three of them have germinated.  They have 2 leaves each, should I remove them from the propagator now?  I read somewhere that if you leave them in after they have two leaves, they might get diseased.

I'm a bit of a novice, but I think if you leave the lid/heat on they'll get leggy pretty fast.

Yes, I'd get them out of the propagator and onto a sunny windowsill as soon as they've germinated.
