Does anyone know which species of Wisteria flower before the leaves come out and which flower at the same time?

...and are there any other important differences between the two?

Chinese (Wisteria sinensis I think) flowers before the leaves and Japanese (wisteria floribunda I think) flowers in June if memory serves me ..
