Hi there we've had our chickens for about 3 weeks now, I think they are hyline(?) and were at POL when we got them. We are getting two eggs a day at the moment, one average sized and one extra large always laid in the same nest box! I don't want to be greedy but I was thinking that we'd get roughly 1 off each hen everyday? Could there only be two laying or does that sound right?

you may have a late developer, but also not every hen will lay every day - most of mine lay for 5 out of every 7 days. All hens will lay roughly the same amount of eggs in their lifetime, so those that lay constantly every day will use up their egg supply that they are born with quicker than one that lays less eggs per week. Hybrids (like the ones in barns and battery cages) are bred to lay constantly which is why farmers get rid of them at about 16 months.
Do all three hens have the same coloured and sized combs?
