some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

I've got nettles between me and my neighbour, but I'm not getting rid of them. They makes a nice nettle tea with which to feed the crops along with the comfrey.  :)

Dwarf fruit trees - you can train them horizontally if you want a lower border.

How easy is it to take cuttings from Rosemary? I have a rather old tired bush that isn't really going to last much longer so I had planned to try and take a cuttings from this except I dont know how

Thanks

Cuttings are best done about mid/end of May. I just tear off little side branches, trim off straggly bark bits, take off bottom leaves and put them in soil.

Here is an article with pictures if you'd like to have a look

Hope that helps

I'd grow a currant of some sort, blackberries need a frame in my opinion.
I'd recamend redcurrants, they're very sour, but crop like mad.

However, dead easy to start them off
Take a regular plastic plant pot full of soil.
Bury it so the lid is an inch above the surface.
Grab a nearby blackberry cane.
Bury the end in the plant pot.
Wait a while until its grown roots and started sprouting.
Cut the cane from the original
Dig out your plant pot.
Replant where you want it.
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended
