Maidnia Charity?

Maidnia Charity?

Help please! Has anyone heard of this plant? I assume the name is right - apparently it has green leaves and yellow daffodil like flowers up the stem. Could possibly flower for mostof the year! I have tried the main plant suppliers but drawn a blank.

The only Charity I know off is a Mahonia x media....is this where the confusion lies?

Thanks all, it was the Mahonia x media! Looking for a friend and she didn't hear Mr Titchmarsh properly!!!
