The only thing I have ever cooked for my girls was porridge in the very cold weather we had.  At the moment they are having veg scraps everyday (mostly cauliflower leaves from the local market stall) and they seem to be ok.

Perhaps someone will tell me this is wrong though

I've boiled my veg, should I blitz it or give it as is? When is the best time first thing or as a treat in the afternoon?  Thanks again for the advice.

I never cook mine (I don't give them potato peelings) and mine have it in big chunks. As yours is boiled they will be able to peck some off very easily  :D
Feed this to them in the afternoon - early evening, this way you are ensuring they have enough of their pellets/mash in the morning to get their correct nutrition.
Staffies are softer than you think.
