« on: March 21, 2010, 10:17 »
So,if I put my runner beans in next week(in all honesty ,they grew a lot faster than I thought they would ::))is it a total waste of time?will they just die from frost?

I would say that the chances of them surviving if planted outside next week are virtually nil.

You never know though; as I've said before sometimes the bragging rights for earliness or size of crop go to those who took an almighty risk (although this would be really pushing it!!)

Sow some more in a couple of weeks for planting out in mid-May at the earliest to be on the safe side.

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older
