Potatoes?
« on: March 18, 2010, 13:08 »
Hi all it has been a long time for me being on here as life got in the way I sadly could not keep up with my old allotment but have managed to secure another one ready for April and I have seed potatoes chitting but am wondering roughly how many potatoes will I get from 1 seed potatoe? Sorry if this has been asked many times before.

Many thanks Nicky

This was answered in a fairly recent post:-

Quote
You will probably get about 1 to 1.5 Kg per plant from the seconds and maincrop. Earlies will be less as you are harvesting them as immature potatoes.
