Radish no show!
« on: March 17, 2010, 19:18 »
I sowed radishes on my plot 10 days ago and there's no sign as yet - have I managed to kill the easiest crop of all?

Haven't tested it yet, there's been the odd frost but the onions and garlic in the next rows are doing well.

I put in a 4' row of French Breakfast on Sunday and I don't expect them up for at least a couple of weeks even though it's quite sheltered. The soil was a bit cold and we're getting a night frost occasionally.

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Ours took ten days to germinate in an unheated greenhouse, with the tray in full sun during the day for about a week   :D
