B&Q
« on: March 14, 2010, 11:58 »
I am about ready to put down either bark chippings or pebbles for my path, so I was searching online on the B&Q website to try and get a price, it would be roughly £35 for 550 liters of bark, but when I came to the pebbles they didnt have a wieht or measurment to work out how much Id need.  Any advice or has anybody used either before, help please.

Before you commit to B&Q, see if you have a local tree surgeon and give them ring.  They chip as they go and are usually ready to sell it by the trailer load, cash in hand.  Very cost and environment friendly.

For hardcore at work I've always used this formula:-
Length X Breadth X Width X 1.8=?
In other words, cube it up and multiply by 1.8. Seemples  :D

Wood chippings are the cord wood from a tree chipped, bark chipping are the bark removed from the tree trunk and chipped.
