oh no something has been nibbling at my potatoes!!
« on: March 12, 2010, 15:01 »
I have put them in the shed this year (to chit) as My beloved wont let me put them in the conservatory as we have a new floor table etc, and when I checked on them today (only put them in there Monday) they have teeth marks in them so have put them in an unused propagator taped down with gaffer tape (little *)  :tongue2:
some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

I thought it might be mice I dont think its a rat as there are absolutely no holes in my shed I am guessing that a mouse has squeezed in somewhere!! no children (well they are adults now) 2 terrier puppies that chased next doors cat out of the shed on monday!!
should have just left it in there??   :D

a mouse can dislocate all its joints, they can get in a hole not much bigger than1/2" diameter.

The cat was probably in there because you have mice.  Its a vicious circle it reminds me of the song that went something like There was an old lady who swallowed a spider etc.  But yours would go there was two terriers who caught a cat, who swallowed a mouse who swalled some potatoe lol.  :)

Rats would probably carry off the potatoes. Set a mouse trap.
