Hello all.

Do I need to add manure to my onion bed before planting  sets?

I though alliums liked nitrogen rich soils?

Robinson's Mammoth Onions recommend digging in manure about 4" below the surface - see their web site for full details. I thought it would make them too soft and lead to problems. Try a bit of both and see.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
