Hi.  I have 3 warrens that have laid everyday since  I got them 2 months ago.  When I went out yesterday there was the usual three eggs but one was tiny - bantam sized at best.  Is this normal for a hen to occassionally lay much smaller eggs? - they seem in fine health.  Cheers x

One of our young ones laid a very small egg like that ...when opened it had just a tiny tiny bit of yolk in .it

I thought that your egg might not have a yolk or at best a tiny one as ali2.  Don't worry it's almost certainly a one off.

Hi, dont worry, like beulah said people call them 'wind eggs'. They dont do it to annoy you, its something that just happens. Dont worry, it shouldnt happen to often
