Got a couple of inches of snow here too and today was going to be clear up day, got a pile of old stuff behind the shed that needs tipping. Oh well, more blinking planning...

Yup, a good 3 inches here too.

I had put some broadies in yesterday and was going to put some peas in today - best rethink that plan.

It's my day off on mondays my main day for gardening. Tomorrow i am allegedly taking delivery of a billy-oh seed house. That needs assembling and will take most of day, and can do indoors fortunatley with the snow situation.

i also have stone wall in yard to finish when weather improves. Hopefully that will keep me too busy for any further unwisely early sowings.

So far have got a tray of leek and a few broccoli seedlings germinated. I'm also watching potatoes chit ( like watching paint dry), I have sown some cardoon and perennial flowers sown but nothing happening there yet.

I foolishly sowed a few cos, spinach and early carrots under a cloche outside I expect they've bought it in the frost. Will know better next year ( perhaps !)

Chill out everybody: ::) Excuse the pun.  Spring actually starts on the 21st March.  My plot is unworkable so I have a margarine tub with 6 lettuce, a meat tray with spring onion, some  yogurt pots with broad beans, another meat tray with parsnip soaking, and five tomato seedlings. There is still some room on the window sill. I am staying indoors to keep warm.

I also can't wait for things to warm up. Went to the plot yesterday and just wondered round, planning (for the millionth time) what I will do when spring finally comes.

Got up this morning to heavy snowfall so I shouted at the sky and shook my fist  ::) :D Global warming?
