getting going again and strawbs question
« on: February 22, 2010, 19:10 »
Hello all,

It's so great to get things on the go again, nothing like a clear out of the shed and showing some tlc to the garden again.
Could anyone help me with some strawberry plant advice? I have a few in containers (planted last year) I haven't really done anything with them over winter. Should I have been covering them? I've cleared off old dead leaves but most look fine. Should the plants be cut back or anything else to help them produce in summer?

Cheers :)

Not sure of the correct answer but mine is left in its pot every year.. Usually tidy it up a bit and remove the dead leaves... seems to fruit every year :)
