Lawn waterlogged.
« on: February 04, 2010, 14:34 »
Last summer i layed a new turf lawn. Its not perfectly flat, and with all the rain and snow of late, it has become extremely muddy, and quite bald! Any tips on sorting this out would be greatly appreciated!! (Or it is gonna get slabbed!!! lol!)
Start at the beginning, and finish at the end!!

There`s not much you can do about it at the moment. Just keep off it and pray for some dry weather. Once it warms up the grass will soon recover. :D

For now get your garden fork and punture the ground as deep as you can all over the garden. If you can put sharp sand in the holes, this should help with drainage.
I may take my time.....but i'll get there in the end.
