hello all

Last year i left a good few shallot bulbs in the ground for set's for this year but there never grow to a good size i removed the bulbs before november can anyone give me some help or is it best to get new bulbs every year

Pick the best when you harvest, dry them out and put them aside somewhere cool until about Dec/now - and then put them in the ground again. Don't save any with signs of disease.

You can still plant them up to the end of March and get good sized bulbs. Space them 12 inches apart and feed them well.
