odd bit in egg
« on: January 01, 2010, 20:43 »
I have to ask because this is a bit odd.I cracked open one of my eggs the other day and there was a white lumpy bit in it that had a gristly texture and a red soggy bit attached to it too..sorry about description, that's the best I can do.Does anyone know what that would be?It wasn't the white cord like part that you see.Thanks.

flump, do you have a cockerel? if so could it have been a fertilized egg?
Staffies are softer than you think.

Hi dont worry, sounds like a fragment of tissue sloughed off at the same time an egg was released thus getting "shelled" I would expect its a one off!

Hi,I never saw that reply Foxy.It happened again today.Cracked open an egg and there was some blooming/brown goo inside and on examining it ,I found two little round white things that look like tomato seeds(I think too small to photograph)could this be parasites?
