Someone more knowledgable with chickens will be along soon to help you.  In the meantime please undo the caps lock as it is considered shouting on a forum. :)

hi domellam - sorry to hear about your little frizzle.  she has most likely been set upon by your existing girls and needs to be kept apart until she is completely wound free. for the time being (until wounds heal) can you possibly keep her out of reach of the others but close enough for them to see her? you can keep her like this for a week or so and then possibly choose one of your existing girls to join her and see if they get on without bullying - make sure her wounds are healed first though. if there is bullying which is more than a warning peck and lasts more than a few hours then take out and replace with another of your existing girls until you find one which will not be a bully towards her.  i would then keep them again sepaerate in their pair for another week or 2  with the others still being able to see them.  then you can try letting them out together and they should then be able to make up their own pecking order. i have done this successfully and might add that the hen that eventually paired up with my new girl was one that i least expected! are you able to free range them? if you can do this it makes it so much easier when they do first get to mix with each other.  it is a long process but it worked for me. hopefully others will be along with their ideas too. good luck :)lucylou
