Have you had heavy rain after a long dry spell? It could be that I know it happens with tomatos.

No 'fraid not. she grows all her plants, but likes to see them growing - 'what they SHOULD' look like

Her aubergines have been in for some time. They are about 14" high now, lovely leaves and some small buds. Last year the fruit was quite small, and she harvested them in about September, so it would appear its early days yet. This is only the second time she has grown them!

Rhuby likes to grow stuff too, she says she prefers to see what develops instead of instant effect.
She also bought her other half a Insectivorous Saracena which is eating lots of flies!! I think actually shes more interested than he is.
