That is a lovely message, thank you.  I would like to wish the same back to you and everyone else on the forum.  My contribution this year will be (fingers crossed) my brussels sprouts which I grew from seed especially for this occassion.  Also have a fair few pickles and chutneys to add.

Thanks for your replies - isn't it good to have a forum like this and to know we're beavering away all year with its support and advice from members in this country and others then to harvest and enjoy at times like these. Hey....feel the love!!!

Heres wishing everyone a really lovely Christmas, and I shall be thinking of others too. I love the forum, and after my first full year, have found a tremendous amount of information, encouragement, banter and knowledge here, so hope the site goes from strength to strength.

Have just harvested cabbage, swede, parsnips and sprouts from under 6 inches of snow, many of which will be on our table tomorrow...

Heres to a successful and wonder fully-weathered 2010 for all...!!!
