Can I give the chooks bird fat balls? I give them porridge which disappears very quickly and kitchen scraps as well as pellets and mash (well fed). Putting fat balls in holder for blue tits at the moment.

This came up not so long ago and the advice was that it not a good idea as they are way too fatty for chicks.  Sounds like yours are pretty well fed anyway
