WHY?
« on: May 14, 2010, 19:54 »
Ok here is a question posed to me by my 6yr old son.

"Why do chickens lay eggs everyday when other birds dont?"

"I am buggered if I know" was not the answer he was expecting.

Please help me to impress my boy.

Thanks

HA, found out.
For those of you that dont know its another case of human intervention. Selective breeding over a very long time to produce the high yield in eggs we get today.
If you think this is wrong and you have another theory then please let me know.

Thanks
