Can someone please tell me how many girls can i have in a run 12 ft x12ft. Thanks

That gives you a run of 16 sq yds so ideally if getting large fowl then 8 (this allows 2 sq yds per hen although some people would say you could have just 1 sq yd each), if having bantams then a couple more. If you get too many in a run it can lead to fights and boredom setting in.

hmmmm  IMO I wouldn't have any more than 6 large chooks in that - absolute minimum should be 1msq of run space per bird excluding the area for the henhouse :)

Have a think too that food and water containers take up some room and if it's the only area you have then eventually it will become quite muddy and rather smelly.

I think less is more in this case! :)

I think 4 is a nice number, if big girlies, 6 if you have titchies. See how you get on from there?
or even 3, then if you feel that you can cope with more, you can take on another 2 or 3 (never a good idea to add a single newbie as it will be bullied)
