Bent tine
« on: November 12, 2009, 00:04 »
my folk has aquired a bent tine, through general digging, is this my fault or the fault of the product- it has a 10yr guarantee, but I don't want the nursery/garden centre to tell me to go stick it?

Do they bend with general miss/use?

Errrrrr i would say that it has not been hardened enough, i bent mine quite a few time's but just bend it back. Then i snapped the shaft so took it back and no worries about changing it. If its a wilko one they might not be to  happy expensive one take it back. With ground like i have around here i broke 2 cheapy ones then went expensive 25year guarantee.
Thanks
Kris

Most tools will either bend, or snap, from mis-use. Have you been a little " rough" with it, or not? ;)
If not, take it back for a replacement........ :)
