Gordonstoms, here's a link to a thread I started last year on the same subject. Amazing what you can do with chillis, I'm not even into the hot varieties!

well,mine failed last year in my unheated GH.  Ive brought some apache in today, and will give them a top and tail prune and put them on the bathroom window sill.  Ive got some prairie fire plants (2 out of ten seeds!) that I will baby a lot more, as the seeds werent cheap.

Alas my one attempt also failed last year, but I’d already saved seed and that did well.

Just ordered my 5 varieties for next year  :)

If it helps, I've seen some right twigs ( < 2" ) on a chilli site I'm a member of ... appears you can abuse them a lot worse than you think ... also appears that it's hit or miss if they overwinter, no matter how you treat them ;)

saved some seed too :D  As a backup and because Bombers wants some,but I really want my overwintering to work, just so I can have something to baby and coo over during the quiet months  :D
