i made my first ever batch of jam at the weekend,
using vals lovely jam recipe in the book - it is the nicest thing ever, but sadly only had enough strawbs to make half a batch, as was first year of plants but nexct year loook out
on the look out now for cheap reduced strawbs

been telling everyone cos i am very excited about it
also mad fab rabbit casserole, and cooked then marinated some in olive oil salt and pepper - that was sooo tasty
waiting for my mum to visit as she brings rabbit with her - free food when you factor in veg from the plot - the best kind
i have to say i cook more in the winter for the freezer and am loving getting back into it again
