Problem rosehip syrup

How do you all get the tiny hairs out. Is straining the syrup through muslin enough?

I was going to ask this. Anyone?

My first lot is having its first infuse as I type

I only brought it up to the boil and turned the gas off, should I have boiled it for longer

I've used mainly very ripe Rugosa hips, so will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Well I'm really surprised. Its turned out OK I think and has a very pleasant flavour. Is this how its meant to look.

I've had to put it in small jars as i didn't have bottles small enough
